Dr. Zackary E. Boomsaad
Zackary Boomsaad, M.D. earned his bachelor’s degree in Microbiology from the University of Texas at Austin and his medical degree at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. Dr. Boomsaad completed his residency training in Anesthesiology at the University of Michigan, followed by an interventional pain medicine fellowship at the Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland.
Dr. Boomsaad is board certified in Anesthesiology and received subspecialty certification in Pain Medicine from the American Board of Anesthesiology. He has been practicing medicine for approximately 13 years.
In addition to routine interventional approaches such as epidural steroid injections and facet joint procedures, Dr. Boomsaad brings expertise in advanced interventional pain techniques to treat the needs of his patients, including spinal cord and peripheral nerve stimulation, regenerative medicine, kyphoplasty, and percutaneous interspinous spacer placement. He provides exceptional, compassionate, and personalized care to each of his patients. In general, he is an advocate for a multimodal approach to the treatment of chronic pain, which incorporates interventional techniques, medication management, physical therapy, exercise, and cognitive-behavioral techniques as indicated.
Dr. Boomsaad and his wife, Brooke, have 3 children and 2 Golden retrievers. He enjoys exercise, travel, and quality time with his family.
