Dr. Richard Tennant
Rick Tennant, DO is originally from Cheyenne, Wyoming. He attended the University of Wyoming where he studied human nutrition and food then went to medical school at Rocky Vista University in Parker, Colorado. Dr. Tennant completed his general surgery internship at St. Joseph Hospital in Denver, Colorado, anesthesiology residency at the University of Florida College of Medicine - Jacksonville, and his pain medicine fellowship at the University of Wisconsin - Madison.
Dr. Tennant believes in a multidisciplinary approach to pain management including medication management, interventional procedures, physical therapy, and pain psychology. In addition to routine interventional pain procedures, he has a particular interest in the spinal cord and peripheral nerve stimulation.
In his free time, he enjoys the outdoors, exercise, woodworking, home brewing, watching and playing sports, and spending time with his wife and two children. He and his family are excited to be back in Colorado.
